Freestyle Cooking ...

... doesn't always turn out! I'm not going to embarrass myself by showing you a photo but I will share just one of the things I learnt yesterday: you can't add choc chips to the flour part of anzac bicuits and then add the warm golden syrup part - they melt! Choc anzac biscuits taste fantastic but they aren't the choc chip ones I intended to make.

  1. who cares - I often add my chocolate chips just after I add the warm golden syrup so they have kinda streaky look running through them. I also add them before(like you did) if I want mine to have the nice dark golden colour

  2. Too funny! But hey, it all goes down the same way and if they taste that good - just write a little note next to the recipe as a 'variation'!
