Family Reunion

Loving this page - so simple but it just works so well. Yay for Tania's cool font and for sharing!

Our branch of the Bellhouse family was sooooo small compared to all the others. But we have been having lots of babies in the past year so it is growing! Yay!

Happy New Year 2010

I used another one of Glenna's cool new border punches to create this page - and then threaded ribbon through the cutouts. The background cardstock is SHINY gold and the 2010 felt numbers are from my use it or lose it stash.

Vienna looks so little!

Love

When Robert and Rana came home from Aussie for our cousin Alison's wedding to Gareth we went for an explore in Takapuna and discovered a field of buttercups. We took some very cool photos and at camp I finally finished making this for Robert ...

Putting It Out There

Just putting it out there into the universe ...

I would love one of these! Just think of all the SUPER cute mini cakes I could make.

I found it here ...

Boozing

One of Vienna's favourite things to do is liberate things from the recyling bin. Various items of paper get tested for ability to be ripped over the back of her head - she gets joy from the thin paper that can be ripped and frustration from the cardboard that just won't rip. Bottles are great fun, plastic bottles bounce on the floor and get chased all over the room, beer bottles 'drunk' from, just like Daddy does!

1st Christmas Stocking

Using sparkly brads from last years gift swap, also using Glenna's awesome border punch. Featuring the awesome handsewn mini Christmas stocking that I made for Vienna last year. I love it when things turn out as cool as I imagined.

Big Latch On

As part of the World Breastfeeding Week we went along to La Leche League on Friday and participated in The Big Latch On, joining in with breastfeeding mothers all over the country trying to break the record for most mothers breastfeeding simultaneously at 10.30am.

Simone from La Leche League Howick had the brilliant idea that Miss Wendy should do the catering for this cool event. It was a new challenge for me to make my cute food on this larger scale but I was keen to give it a go. I planned a simple but tasty and cute menu and got busy in the kitchen:

There were mini corn bread muffins ...

Baugette slice mini pizza with homemade tomato relish, kransky sausage, red capsicum, gerkin and cheese ...

Mini chocolate boobies ...

To go with more of the butter cookie boobs like I made last month ...

Butter cookie and chocolate cookie mini boys and girls ...

Vanilla mini cupcakes with vanilla frosting and fondant boy and girl handprints ...

I invented these YUMMY tangelo cupcakes using fresh tangelo from the tree at Maree's place where I am house sitting ...

There were 6 of these tables set up with lots of Miss Wendy's yummy cute food and another with some of Miss Wendy's lemonade for all the thirsty breastfeeding mothers

We had a great time and Vienna enjoyed playing with her friends after her breastfeed and yummy snacks.

Going for a Trip?

When Ashley went to Wellington to make a music video with Sarah Aitchison Vienna thought she might like to go along for the trip ...

She looks odd in this photo for some reason ... weird ...

Christmas 2002

I have made this Christmas tree before but in the true style of each page taking on it's own unique style it looked completely different to this. The little word plaques are from our gift exchange last year, so are the sparkly silver brads Yay!!!

Emily's Sleepover at Miss Wendy's

At camp I finally finished this mini book for Emily (I did 2 actually - one for her and one for my bookshelf), the sleepover event had been well over a year ago and it was definitely on my guilt list but it was worth the wait, I love how it turned out.

When I gave it to Emily she was sooooo happy that I felt a whole lot guilty that I hadn't finished it earlier for her. Note to self: get bum into gear and stop taking so long to do stuff!!!!!!

Graduation Present

Another camp page, this one is a jigsaw puzzle that I had mounted in a picture frame but no longer display on the wall. So now it has a new format. Loving Tania's new font for her cuttlebug - thanks for sharing Tania.
